Joey and Deris officially held the last beach side wedding at Shangrila Sentosa before it closed for renovations earlier this year.

Their casually themed ‘white’ wedding was celebrated by close friends and families who came from as far out as Canada. I love outdoor weddings for the light and to just be in the fresh air and Joey and Deris’ wedding definitely did not disappoint anyone with the brilliant sunset that evening. Their guests were surrounded by balloons, balloons, balloons, which made a glorious sight as they were released into evening’s sky after the couple’s entrance.

I left the wedding feeling warm (emotionally and physically) as I watched their families dance the evening away as most babas and nonyas love to do.
