Wrapping Bak Zhang with Por Por

So a couple of weeks ago was Duan Wu Jie – Bak Zhang Festival (Rice Dumplings). Por Por came over to impart her knowledge of wrapping the rice dumpling. We spent the Saturday afternoon wrapping bak zhang in the backyard, perspiring and listening to her stories. And this is a snippet of that afternoon.

Bak Zhang is great, I love eating them. But… not until you have like 2 weeks supply, then they get REALLLLLY ‘jer lak’.
